Blessing of the Animals

 

Fr. Clements will be offering animal blessings at Christ Church on Saturday, Oct 8 from 10am until 11am as part of the octave of St. Francis. Outdoors as preferred; indoors if inclement.

Christian Meditation

We will be offering a class twice a month on Christian Meditation after the Sunday services .  This will cover the history of the subject, the difference between meditation and prayer, and help us all to construct a personal program of meditation in our own lives.

Please inform the rector of your interest as there is a book for the class that will need to be ordered at no cost to the participants.

Our first class will be on Sunday, September 25th.

Picnic Time!

We will host a parish picnic on Saturday 9/10 on the church grounds beginning at 5pm.  Music will be provided by DJ Skol.  Picnic food will be available.  This is an opportunity to mark our celebration of the year to come, a baptism, and the beginning of church school and adult education program.  Please come and join with us.
